I just received a leather, engraved dish/tray that resembles an ashtray. At first, I was wondering what on earth I could use it for, but now it proudly holds my keys and change by the front door so I'll never lose them...

My friend got us bone handled hunting knives. I have always like the idea of a straight or double edged razor.

i think those are called a "valet". i got one as a gift also and found it to be pretty handy to put my keys and wallet in so i don't wander around my apartment for 20 minutes each morning trying to find them.
i've gotten a ton of wallets and i don't recommend doing that. most people have a wallet style they like so they end up tossing the wallet or just giving it away.
