So i've been thinking about getting some kind of a job at a grocery store, preferably a whole foods store, however those are always the easiest to come by.
But anyways, I've got the experience with bagging groceries and running a register.
I just know that some stores have a great work environment and others just do not. So I've been researching for different websites that have all the information I need to make this educated guess on where to apply.
I found a bunch of sites, of course monster.com and the like, but their forums/communities weren't structured in a way to find the info I was looking for.
While I was using google, I found TelOnU.com and was completely amazed that this was kind of like the Yelp.com of workplaces.
they even have a specific section on companies and reviews:
http://www.telonu.com/?type=201
all you have to do is type in the company name into the search box and voila, a list of reviews from past and current employers and all different people pop up. I have only posted a few reviews myself, but several of the reviews of companies and people made me think twice about taking a job with them and in one case made me want to really be at this one particular company who had many great rave reviews.
Also I can find the companies that lay off people or are having a layoff currently = which can also steer you in a direction.
Does anyone else have experience using Telonu.com? as far as job searching goes?
did the reviews seem fairly accurate to you?
I think they seem pretty valid, in my opinion, but I want to hear back from you ? So check it out if you can.
Thanks
