Grey jeans in the winter?

Just bought a pair of the of the Levi's 511 skinny jeans in a light grey and I'm wondering if such a color is acceptable for fall/winter? They are fairly light throughout especially the thigh area which I thought might make them more of a spring/summer fashion than something for the cold weather months. Advice anyone? Keep 'em or buy something else?

I wear grey jeans in the winter, in fact I think they fit the season well.

Both work well. When i was in boston last winter all i wore were my light grey apc jeans, black apc leather sneaks, various shirt/sweater and that drkshdw jacket or peacoat. Looked pretty bad ass in the winter. Don't get so worried about what's a "rule" or not. If it looks good, that's what matters. During the winter, you can try wearing your grey jeans with more black and in the spring with more colors if you're worried about seasons.
