Am I the only one who found this thread a bit disturbing?

Disturbing, in what way? Anything I have said here has been strictly tongue in cheek (I am assuming you are responding to my earlier post. If not I am making an even bigger ass of myself). Have you perhaps construed some deeper meaning than what was intended? As regards thread hijacking, or, subjects not germane to the topic at hand, why its downright scandalous I tell you, and right here on the Style Forum for heaven's sake.
