I dig the look of the Grenson Kirks, however they are a bit elongated in the toe box. I don't live near any stockists, so looking at them and trying them on is not possible. I wear sz 12's US (so UK11?). Would this style be too big for me? (possible clown shoe situation). I'm 180cm tall.

Black - Kirk's

...and. these

I have a pair and they might look a little long at your size. Not to mention that the leather is thin and feels cheap, so I would advice you to look elsewhere.

I don't like the elongated shape at all. I don't much like the length of, for example, C&Js 348 last, but these look like a similar length yet lacking any of the actual sleekness of the 348.

I'm a UK 9 and they looked like clown shoes on me, wore them a few times then gave away. They are available cheaply and are not bad shoes, they just didn't seem to work with any trousers I own.

Thanks guys. The contrasting sole and upper looks appealing but don't want to look like Sideshow Bob. Will give them a miss.
