Green bowtie/cumberbund set?

Anyone know a place to pick one of these up in NYC? Going to an event soon with a theme that calls for green flair on black tie.

For the love of all that's holy, though, if you must do color, can you get away with just the green cummerbund?

Yeah, I would go for just a cummerbund or bow tie or handkerchief, especially not all three as in the absolutely darling set Vox posted. Matching them would just be, blech.

I was given a red bow tie in raw silk and it doesn't look too diabolical with the regular dj kit (at a Christmas ball) so a green bow tie might be ok, although a cummerbund or handkerchief would probably be the least offensive.

Sorry, I live in the UK, not the US, I have found that a lot of nasty/cheap formal shops have bow ties (athough often pre-tied) and cummerbunds in weird colours, otherwise google I guess

You might check out Beau Ties Ltd. of Vermont. They should be well stocked with green fabrics because St. Patrick's day is just past, and they can custom fabricate you a bow tie and cummerbund quite quickly.

I went to a party that required green flair on black tie not too long ago. I wore a green shirt (fairly but not super bright, pocketless but with barrel-cuffs), and all my normal black tie paraphanalia.

I thought it looked ok, and if it looked a bit out of place, it didn't look like I'd dropped in quality of garment like getting a green novelty set would have.

Plus, I didn't have to go find a green novelty set. haha

I don't want a green novelty set. Someone must make a real green set though right? I have a lime green shirt I could wear, but I fear that might be too bold.
