1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think some people, including the OP, are having some trouble with the notion of 'unknown'. Rubinacci, LBM 1911, Belvest, Caruso, Isaia, Borelli, Partenopea, Saint Crispin etc. are all well-known (not to say, aspirational and iconic) here and would be to anyone who pays any attention to men's clothing or reads any men's magazines. Even Jack/Knife has had some exposure here (from Urban Composition in particular, I recall).

They may not be well-known to the general public, but then almost every brand people are interested in here is outside the worldview of the general public.

The general public probably couldn't tell you what Zegna is. :)

Not sure about the quality, but the obscurest brands I can think of are:

    Guilty Brotherhood
    and
Conference of Birds (both are French street labels if I'm not mistaken)

For shoes, how about Saddler's Union?

Well, I just looked on Google and it appears that someone bought the brand and it's now at Barney's.
