Nice thread @Veremund. One of my favorites is how James Stewart is elegantly clothed in Harvey (1950). You could even tell from the way his garments drape that he's a 'pleasant' fellow

I'd disagree - seems a very a very superficial piece about costume rather than suits.

Not a bad article, but IMHO any discussion of tailoring in film and classic style (men's or women's) without mention of "To Catch a Thief" is incomplete.

I do not necessarily disagree, but the photo that you've used makes Daniel Craig look like Karl Lagerfeld's Mini-Me.
