1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I have finally gotten round to selling all the BB Peal shoes I have which are too big. In my inexperienced days, I bought all of my shoes in 9.5D, blindly assuming that they would all fit the same. And I wore some of them for a while before I realized this.

In another ad, I am selling 5 pairs of very nice C&J for Peal british tan boots, size 9.5D which fits like a 10D. Those are on the 240 last. Two pairs brand new in the box, and three gently used pairs also in the box

In this ad, I am selling three more pairs:

A pair of C&J for BB Peal split toe brown pebble scotch grain lace-ups, size 9.5D on the 325 last. These run about half a size big, and that is the only reason I am selling them. They have leather soles; the ones currently on the BB website have Dainite soles. Leather soles make them a touch dressier, in my opinion. I did replace these with a 9D for myself. I have only worn these about 10 times, so they have miles of wear left in them. The outers are umarked. I think these are beautiful shoes. EG makes the nicest split toes of all, the Dover, but these are pretty darn nice for less than half the price.

Price is $598 at Brooks. $400 or best offer, plus shipping. Includes original box and unused jazzy shoe bags.

    Update 2-16-12:

Sorry for the confusion everyone. I had to stop writing the above part way through. Here's what else I have for sale:

1 pair of C&J Peal brown pebble-grain chukka boots with a Medway rubber sole. 240 last. Some wear to the heels but lots of life left, and the uppers are in great unmarked condition.

1 pair of Alfred Sargent (I think, definitely not C&J however) Peal oxblood pebble-grain chukka boots with a Dainite sole. Great, almost new condition. Truly worn fewer than 10 times.

    http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCat...y=newArrivals&sectioncolor=&sectionsize=#null

All are size 9.5 and run half a size big. That's the only reason I am selling these beauties. More pictures to follow. Thanks for your interest and patience.

As for prices, I am looking to move these, but am not foolishly generous. The prices for all of these boots (except the British tan ones) currently on the Brooks website is $528. So how about $400 a pair, or offers.

So you are selling 3 pairs of the split toe brown pebble scotch grain lace-ups, or are there others?

The ad is really confusing to me also, assuming you are selling 3 pairs of the pebbled lace-ups and 5 of the boots?

By the way, are you certain those boots are C&J? The nail pattern isn't typical C&J...

    OP, gentle suggestion.

    1. delete this thread and your other one
    2. take pictures of every pair of shoes you want to sell
    3. create a new thread which has the pictures of each shoe and the price you are asking for each one
    4. write as little as possible in this thread

You need an asking price. It is against forum rules to just say "make offers."

I would also suggest that you put actual photos of the shoes up rather than just link to the BB web site. Your call though.

I just received the AS pebblegrain chukka boots. They are beautiful! And in perfect condition, really. I'm usually a size 10 and these fit just right. Thanks again.

Ryan, very glad you are pleased! The boots went all the way to Japan via Charlotte. The split toes are gone also.

What is left are five pairs of the British tan dress boots and one pair of brown pebble-grain boots on the Medway sole.

Sportin, I am pretty darn sure they are C&J boots. The writing on the inside and the last number 240 make me think so.

Still have the tan calfskin (5 pairs) and brown pebble-grain chukkas (1 pair) for sale. Happy to entertain any offers. Wish I had purchased the right size! Made a similar mistake with some Alden lasts in shell shoes and boots, but have already re-sold those.
