I had a jacket made up at SuitSupply recently. Under the artificial light, and in a small swatch, the windowpane on the gray worsted looked dark blue . . . but it is actually teal. I'm a little thrown by this, and I'm unsure how to make use of a jacket that would have been much more versatile in the colors I expected.

How would you pair such a jacket? Is teal the end of the world?

Most things will go with teal, its actually quite a nice colour and will look good: put your concerns aside.

The one moral of the tale is that you should always take a cloth that you are choosing for a suit outside. Internal light is just not the same.

I have to admit I’ve made this mistake before. I’m embarrassed it happened again, and it will NOT happen a third time. But it is what it is for this jacket ...

Thanks for your assurance, BTW. What would YOU wear with this, GBR?
