Gray hair - suggestions for shampoo/conditioner

My straight dark brown hair is in transition to silver/gray which is coarser, and oddly, very curly. On humid summer days, I look in the mirror and wonder who is that guy wearing a brillo pad on his head. Is there a shampoo and conditioner that is formulated for curly and coarse gray hair. Not looking to straighten it - just soften some of the wiry texture.
