I had won a black mackay on their ebay auction for $315. I just received the shoe, to my suprise, it was not a mackay
It was a black Dover (they call it Pitney Lawn) in the 606 last in an E width.
This was probably a special order, as it has an extra label on the sole stating to phone someone
I am pretty happy since I usually wear an F width in the 888 last and this fits perfect

GVH does screw up but in this case I am a happy camper

A black Mackay for $315 was pretty spectacular to start with. Glad the deal only got better -- and that a shoe in an unusual size worked out so well.

I haven' seen them list any black Dovers, or any Dovers at all for that matter, so I don't think anybody is getting shorted.

my thoughts exactly
chances of getting another pair of perfect fitting dovers for 315 is pretty small, so I'm going to keep them
