I'm not saying it never happens with GS, but I think they're being a lot more disciplined with clicking. This is the most-recent pic of my original Ottawas, which have more miles than any pair of shoes/boots I own (and it's not close):Yeah, the funny thing about cxl is that it will crease in very delayed way. You might think you're in the clear after several months, but then you'll suddenly notice a much larger crease that wasn't there before. This happened on two of my Aldens. Sometimes though, the creases never get much worse even after 5 years. It's a very unpredictable leather.

My Dune CXL longwings and Travelers are doing great too. My orinial Indys were Natty CXL and definitely had some grain on the shafts. It honestly didn't bother me, but probably would have on the toes though.
B grades section has been upated
Got a sizing question for those who have tried GS's chelseas. My brannock is 10C (10C HTB but 8.5/9D HTT). Will 9D work in the chelseas? I'm concerned that the standard 0.5 size down (9.5D) would have too much volume
I agree with Neo. I'd highly recommend you get some feedback from the team at GS.Got a sizing question for those who have tried GS's chelseas. My brannock is 10C (10C HTB but 8.5/9D HTT). Will 9D work in the chelseas? I'm concerned that the standard 0.5 size down (9.5D) would have too much volume
