the rumored field boot is supposed to have the grant stone wedge.
Oh man, a Grant Stone field boot with a wedge would make me a buyer again. The only Grant Stone boot I've bought has been the suede boot with wedge sole but this would change things. Field boot in general would make me question my boot buying habits.

Let’s hope it releases like this and I’m sure everybody would love it

Just got a knock on the door myself.
I'll see them in a few hours. Just hoping the Diesel isn't too tight. I have one Diesel in 8.5EEE that has to be sold (pre-order so no return). I'm hoping the 9 EEE has enough room or was lasted a touch loosely.

Somebody buy those delicious Ottawa's from @AEShoeMan so I'm no longer tempted.

Wearing my new-ish black/wedge sole Brass Boots today in 10.5D. The fit is surprisingly sloppy when compared to the 10E Brass Boots, which are fully broken in by this point. No heel slip though. They should work perfect after the footbed molds to my foot. Also considering giving them a good dunk, which seems to shrink the boots slightly. Matching kilties are on the way also. My trusty 3/4 insert solves the fit perfectly for my low instep and narrow heel, but I prefer my foot to be as flat as possible and the insert adds a little bit of heel-toe drop.

I've lost track of your sizing. What is your Brannock again? I thought the 10E was supposed to actually have more volume than the 10.5D.

The 10E does have more volume than the 10.5D, but I guess my statement was misleading. I find them to be roomier than I expected, but not as roomy as the 10E's.

The 10E's have also perhaps shrunk a bit from rough wear, being soaked a few times, and purposefully not using shoe trees. They fit me perfectly now. But until the footbed and heel counter wears in and molds to the foot I tend to experience a bit of movement of the foot inside the boot. But the roomy fit of the Floyd is growing on me! Crunched toes shouldn't have to be a way of life.

I measure 10.5D on the Brannock (or 11C HTB). The 10.5D's line up perfectly at the foot's flex point but still feel longer than I'm used to. This feeling lessens throughout breakin in my experience. Also, the wedge sole is a little bit longer than the lug sole as far as the point of toe-off from the ground.
