Really nice. Where’d you get them? For future reference.
These are the tan rawhide laces from Guarded Goods. I got a bunch of colors months ago. Probably a mistake since I’ll most likely never use most of them. The tan seems to go great with the bourbon and natural edge.

Well, now that's a thought! The wet dew isn't nearly as bad as the black spot my car's rubber floor mat made on the right heel, can't get the damn thing out of the suede and have tried every suede cleaner I have, plus good old soap/water. But they are shoes, and made to be worn. View attachment 1466370
You could try a little rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) on a cloth. Or maybe acetone (nail polish remover) or even something like goo gone. unlikely to make it worse. A little on a Q-tip might show if any black color is coming off.

The tassel loafer lineup sounds great. Really looking forward to seeing more pictures. Black, tobacco, and chestnut calf along with coffee suede. Always up for more suede.

Bet the chestnut calf would be great on the Fairfield.

I'm glad to hear it. Let us know how they fit!

Hey Wyatt,
You are likely aware of most of this due to our continued [excellent] communication, but to apprise fellow forumites:

The 7.5D arrived commendably fast, but were, as feared, a little too short, with a few areas of not-insignificant contact inside the toebox in normal weightbearing (i.e. not up on the balls of the feet, going downhill etc).

The fit and finish was absolutely immaculate - as one has come to expect from GS! - and the leather is gorgeous. However, although I can (and do!) cram my foot into slightly-too-small footwear; given my high expectations of the Leo last finally providing a boot that welcomed and cradled my awkward-shaped feet, I would have been loathe to settle.

Wyatt and the team were fantastic, and after some serious negotiation with the better half (who is the breadwinner at the moment) the 7.5Ds started to wend their merry way back to the US of A, while a replacement pair of 8D was sent out forthwith.

The 8D arrived a few days ago.
I haven't wanted to post too precipitously, as I have in the past felt that a new last was finally The One, only to find that as the leather relaxes over the first few wears the stretch is all in the wrong places, and that Minor Rub turns into Major Friction And Compression.
However, let me put it this way: When a pair of long-lurking boots sold on Grailed a day or so ago, I instabought a (/?the last?) pair of 8D Forest Kudus!

That is a usual mishap that stops me from using suede more frecuently. The right side of the right shoe gets specially stained. I even consider driving with my feet inside plastic bags but that will expose me to the sarcastic comments of my wife.

Does anyone have a sense of how often the B-grade listings are updated?

We won't update the B grade collection all that often and there is not much of a turn over in this collection. Few pairs here and there as we don't anticipate stocking.

Womp womp

I guess I should probably stop refreshing that page daily hoping for some cap-toe boots to pop up then...

Thank you for the reply

Unfortunately, no plans to add those to the B grade collection...

If those ever come out in EEE, despite already having the Dune Diesels, I’d be very tempted to get them anyway.
These are terrific and built solid. I really like the Dune / Natural CXL. I have three GS in Dune - Ottawas, LWB and Traveller loafers plus Alden Indy.
