I like Grant Stone's rubber sole, but next time I get something that comes with a leather sole or have a pair that needs a replacement sole guard I'm thinking of trying the Vibram 2724 or something similar. Seems like it would work out well.

Dainite CAN be slippery, so can leather however. Have no experience with leather and a topy, but it would seem to be a good combination of both leather and rubber. I'm in Illinois USA and have plenty of snow/ice in winter. I just don't wear the leather sole GS when the weather is "slippery". But Dainite and the micro stud soles just are not as comfortable to me.I'm a bit wary of that sole too but living in Vancouver, I have to. My experience with the Dainite clone from Meermin is that it could get slippery. Do you think a leather sole with topy will be better? For sure, a commando sole should be the best
Got it, thanks for clarifying! The final sales are usually only like 1-2 available. Once they’re sold out, they’re not available at that discounted price. I believe they commented about this a few pages back.
We do this all the time at my work to trim down inventory.
Using various Dainite clones I haven’t really experienced slipping. However, any shoe I do buy, with the exception of dress shoes, are rubber. I live on east coast of Canada and it’s just a no brainer. Tried leather in the winter, almost slid every step lolI'm a bit wary of that sole too but living in Vancouver, I have to. More crimson Ottawa today.
Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary with my SO. Since this is her gift to me I need to make sure to wear them a lot and get the creases forming.

I saw the black CXL Ottawa was added to the EEE options. While it doesn't show as in stock at the moment that could be another great option. The edge color really makes that particular makeup. They might be somewhat redundant color-wise with the crimson diesels but man... these moved up a lot on my list. They look awesome.
