Any plans for a more rugged leather? Boot I have a pair of Redwings in their copper rough and tough that Id love to replace with GS. Sometimes you just need a boot you can beat up and not worry. Would especially be good with a commando or even a wedge sole.

Technically, Chromexcel would be considered just as rugged a leather as Red Wings Rough and Tough. The Chromexcel that Grant Stone uses is just so pretty that you don't want to beat it up lol.

True, I guess I mean a finish on a leather than lends itself better to beating it up. I have Redwings "Copper Rough and Tough" which is a pull up leather with a rougher finish. It's great because any dings just add character to it. I was thinking something more like that. I believe Thursday has similar "Rugged and Resilient" leathers, but I'd prefer to get something of better quality.

Anybody 8D in loafers?

I picked up a used pair in my size for $30 yesterday. While not Grant Stone, it should be of very good quality. ;)

This is a good loafer. I would size up though for this one.

Wearing the Dune Traveler today. It's the middle of January and the sun is out with no snow here in MI. I'll take it.

Dumb question here, but how does the Dune CXL compare to Natural and Brown CXL?
