1. Dune Diesel
2. Bourbon suede Diesel or Ottawa
3. Crimson Brass Boot

Black is not really necessary - unless you like black. Try to have at least one pair in a darker brown because it's so versatile. I think the Brass Boot is their most versatile boot.

If you tend on the dressier side of things, opt for Ottawa over Brass Boot, Edward over Diesel, and don't forget about the cap toe boot.

Looking for opinions. If you're starting off your Grant Stone boot collection, what would be your top three boots?

I was thinking

1. Diesel boot in crimson
2. Ottawa boot in bourbon suede
3. Maybe Ottawa boot in crimson cxl.

Ottawa in Crimsom CXL
Ottawa in Bourbon Suede
Captoe in British saddle tan leather
Makes for a nice variety of leathers and colours and should pretty much cover every usage situation that one comes across.

Hmm…
1. Ottawa in black CXL
2. Diesel in dune or crimson CXL
3. Cap toe in chocolate calf for dressier occasions. If not no dressier occasions, then one of the fun ones, like Brass in earth.

Hippo requires a CITES certificate (or used to anyway - CITES = Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).
