This made my day.

We just finished the 4th rendition of a Chukka that is under development. It's getting closer. Pretty happy with the pattern this time around. We will probably try something different for this outsole instead of leather or rubber, most likely crepe.

Looking good and *checks notes* please make it EEE!
I would tend to agree with you there. Our first few renditions all had darker welts and a variety of uppers. This photo above is just a sample trying out a few different options so don't worry, there will be some dark welt variants.

Here is another picture of the Loden Edward boot from this afternoon.

This makeup and look would make a great chukka as well.

Sorry if I missed it elsewhere, but is there an end date for the loden pre-order? And when would be expected delivery?

Who's got the Chelsea's? Thinking about the Earth pair but wondering how they'll pair with denim. Most Chelsea's seem to sleek for this, looking for a chunkier pair.

Hi,

I'm really into Grant Stone but live in Europe, so a pair of shoes ends up costing around 200$ more due to added import taxes. handling fees and shipping - which is stopping me from pulling the trigger om several of their stuff.

Does anybody know if Grant Stone is considering opening a European site? I just wanna buy more shoes ;).

Having a hard time deciding whether to order the espresso or loden Traveler.

Got my Fairfields back from the cobbler earlier.

Hoping to place my first order for a pair of loden loafers and am unsure about the fit. Any of the gents have high instep and the loafers and are kind enough to comment on the fit? Or better yet, does anyone here have S&M's last year loafers and care to comment on how the fit compares to GS loafers? Thanks in advance!

High instep person here. Full disclaimer though, I'm also a kind of narrower / low volume fit also. Brannock at a 7.5D. Went with 6.5D for the Traveler CXL. Out of the box they were punishingly stiff at the vamp and required days and days of breakin but now they're fine. The mayors of GS - aka m635 bmw man and audog tell me the suede is easier.
