Posted this inquiry on the Alden thread, and wanted to post here as well. Anyone here near Texas A/M? going to be there next May for Niece graduation and would love to have a shoe-meet (beats hanging out with distant relatives :) )

Navy cxl was sold out in my size so decision was easier. Wishing the pebble grain Ottawa wasn't so light (seems lighter than the original run) otherwise would've made an effort to order and claim bad memory when the boss questioned their arrival

They do seem lighter than Original limited edition, but that shouldn't dissuade you from getting a pair, they do Kick A**!

I considered the dune belt but it seemed like almost a mismatch stylistically to the longwings. It’s too plain and would match well the boots or PTB’s, but maybe not the LWB. Plus, I already have a belt that will probably work that has nice contrast stitching.
Not a bad deal for a CXL belt though.

This is an interesting point. I didn’t pull the trigger on it for this purchase. Was already feeling guilty.
