    Not too bad in snow and ice, better than Dainite, IMHO. But perhaps not as good as a lug sole. Although the rubber sole GS uses doesn't look as "clunky" as a lug sole.

    Yeah I was looking at Alden but nothing with a lug sole in my size. Looking for a bad weather shoe

    Although this is a GS thread, the best bad weather footwear I have found is a pair of Alden Indy boots with full lug sole, they are my go-to snow shoveling, OMG it snowed/iced overnight footwear. Here is a link to them (sorry Wyatt and Josh put a full on lug sole on a pair of GS and I'm in!)

    I should be more clear looking for a shoe not boot have plenty of Alden boots but need to give grant stone a try.

    I had a cleaning this morning at 8 AM too, big smiles this afternoon! I don't want to burn you guys out on my loafers, I wear them darn near every day though...
