Misty, damp, cool day means pebbled Ottawas!

Actually, misty cold damp day means Dune Diesel's and flannel lined jeans. Temp is falling with 40 mph wind from the north and snowing here.

So was going to cook trout in cast iron tonight, wife calls and says "I need to go on a diet starting tomorrow, so why don't we go to the Mexican place tonight for one last fling with chips and salsa" OK says I, but the question I have for GS is this....... When did you guys sneak into my house and measure my feet when I was sleeping as the Leo last is so freakin' good on my feet!!!!! Black Diesel on rubber sole for the cold rain/snow thing going on and I will have to park about a block away from the Mexican place.

Just got my Cognac Cap Toe's back from Aram. Had speedhooks added (sourced dirct from GS) as I much prefer them over all eyelets. If I thought these boots were awesome before, they're damn near perfect now.

Thanks. They seem to not show the shell rolls more than any of my 10 other pairs of shell.

Is the crimson cxl same as Alden brown cxl on Indy. The Alden looks more crimson (red) in pictures. Anyone have both for comparison pics?

Don't know if it will help but 3 well worn boots. Alden brown CXL Indy, GS Crimson Diesel and GS crimson Ottawa.

Exactly what.i was looking for. Looks like GS is a bit darker than Alden. I already have an.Indy in brown CXL and Higgins Mill in natural cxl. trying to figure out what color to get in Ottawa

That being said, the Ottawa looks better than Indy (better last, better color, more rugged sole)

The crimson is a great color for the Ottawa boot, it will be right in the middle of your brown and Natty.
