Your burgundy shell cordovan LWB prototype was beautiful, as well as the dark green shell cordovan PTB. Those would be on my wishlist...

Okay this is good to know. Once we have all of our ducks in a row, we want to continue doing the smaller pre-orders for the likes of the green shell or dark brown/burgundy.
Going forward, we will most likely be taking the pre-orders on the website instead of email which should make things easier as well.

Bit of a late reply here, but those shoes are amazing. Which ones are they exactly?
Crimson longwings Highly recommended.

Great, thank you! That's what I was thinking. Yours look even better than the website pics. Did you do much to them in terms of conditioning/polishing? And your laces are different than the stock photos; do those tan laces come with the shoes, or did you buy them separately? Any sizing advice, particularly relative to Allen Edmonds Park or Fifth Ave? Appreciate the info and sorry for all the questions!

They came more the darker side of brown with hints of crimson in the vamp but have since started to lighten up a bit. I use Alden natural boot cream which shines them up a bit and brush them before and after each wear. The laces are from Allen Edmonds's and match very well with the midsole and stitch. As far as sizing, 1/2 size down from TTS is recommended and that is what I did and the fit is perfect. They are a heavy shoe with the steal shank and all but I wear them on 12 hr days and love the feel and I have no discomfort at the end of the day.

These guys came in today, won't have a chance to wear them on carpet for a couple days, but just trying them on and not walking they seem comfy, slighter shorter then alden barrie in the same size and maybe ever so slightly wider. Leather seems nice and thick. I will say something about the laces feels cheap but I'm not entirely sure what. Both 8.5D

The laces we decided to use are slightly thicker than the average dress lace. They also have a little less wax. This makes them feel quite a bit different. When we were deciding which lace to use, we found this particular lace keeps a firm knot. On the other hand, the waxed laces we have used over the years seem to have an issue staying tight for the first couple weeks.

We are going through this again as we are searching for a good lace to use on the balmoral cap toe.

Think you hit the nail on the head, i think its that they're so lightly waxed that they reminded me of sneaker laces a bit. I do hate waxed laces coming untied though.Think they definitely work for a casual shoe though. I just want to see who these feel over a couple days so i can order the black ottawa!

Personally, I prefer a thinner lace as well. Hopefully we can find a nice one for the dress shoes which perform.

Just bought these shoes based solely upon how awesome they look in your pic. :nodding: Glad I stumbled upon it. I've been searching for the perfect all season brown shoe that can be dressed up with wool trousers and a sportcoat, or dressed down with jeans and an OCBD. I think I finally found it in the Grant Stone Crimson Longwing. I measure right at a 10.5D on the Brannock device, so I ordered a 10 in accordance with the sizing info on the site as well as your input. Hopefully they work out.

Now, going to try to purchase those same AE laces you have. And if you could let me know where those socks are from... jk. But seriously...

Please stop. I have enough problems...

(what size did you order?)

11.5. I think they will look incredible. I'm still wondering how many people made the list.
