Yes I added a Vibram Topy over the double leather soles. I live in Singapore where it can rain any day throughout the year and hence all my leather soles get a topy by default.
Hi I live in SG. Which cobbler do you go for Vibram topy? Thanks

Navy CXL Bluchers for today.
Out of my 5 pairs of CXL boots & shoes from Grant Stone x Horween, these have the worst break, comparatively. These have a coat of Saphir Navy Blue Medaille D'Or but the CXL doesn't take polish too well and these will soon be back to their Emerald green shade after some flex on the vamp within a few wears. The polish will be removed eventually with Saphir Renomat and these will return to their greenesh shade soon. In the last pic the green is already coming through...

Dune Traveller Penny Loafers for today.
Another winner for the CXL lottery and these have darkened over the last 2.5-3 yrs. Only pair of loafers I have and I get the tiniest bit of heel slip but the toebox has just moulded to my feet beautifully.

How would you size the CXL loafers relative to say the Ottawas in CXL? Im an 8E /8.5 D in the Ottawas, and interested in knowing the relative loafer size.

Basu da, I size the same in both - Ottawas and Loafers - at US13E.
The toe box fit feels same on both (both are CXL as well for me), however since the Ottawas are lace boots the heel is pretty locked but in the loafers I get a tiny bit of heel slip which I don't mind. They are used more as weekend/casual shoes with shorts so a relaxed (not sloppy) fit on the heel works because the toe box is comfortable & just a touch snug.

Are the suede loafers less visibly chunky than the CXL loafers?

Visually, I wouldn't say so. The components are the same from top to bottom and the CXL upper is less than half a mm thicker. Picture of the midnight suede, old black cxl sample and honey shell below. The biggest difference would just be feel. The suede has that slipper vibe to it, being extra forgiving/soft once broken in.

Can't complete purchase at work, payment widget won't load. Guess I'll have to go out to my car in 95 degree heat for my phone...These are the kind of sacrifices a boot aficionado must make I assume.

That shade of bison honestly looks fantastic. I will probably wait to see what some customer pairs turn out like, but it is certainly something I will put on my list to consider.
My first impulse was to buy a pair but I might hold off for a bit too. I already have a pair of the Diesels in the burgundy kudu--similar look but with a contrasting welt.
