Are these Crimson or Chocolate Calf? Asking because the stain on the mid-sole looks much darker than the product shots on GS's site.

Keep in mind too that color will appear to vary by camera and viewing screen.

Hi, I got 3 boots in the recent sale - all in size 10, but I had to exchange them for smaller sizes.

This Diesel in Dark Burgandy Kudu is no longer available in the size I need. I'd like to trade this size 10 for a 9.5 or 9. will come with everything in its original packaging. Only worn for about 15 minutes on carpet. Since mine are brand new, yours should be close to the same. Thanks.

Picked up a used Dune Longwing in 11D to experiment with sizing and they're definitely too big. I'm posting them for sale at $120 shipped, or best offer. I'd like to just recoup my cost basically. Also would be interested in a partial trade (see next post).

These have seen a good amount of wear from the previous owner but have been thoroughly cleaned up by myself. One heel block has a dark stain and small notch that you can see in the pictures, I redid the edging in a (rough) natural but it could be covered up if you wanted to apply an opaque brown edging.

Stock brown laces will also be included.

*BUMP*

Anyone who wants to give 11D a shot, I'll send these to you for a song. They are pretty well broken in and too big for me.

Size: 11D
Last: Leo
Style: Longwing (leather sole)
Leather: Natural CXL
Asking: $120 shipped $60 shipped within CONUS

I have quite a few pairs for sale now. Will need to update with more info and pictures, but if you have any interest send a DM. I’d prefer to ship to the US only. Just send an offer.

Just checking... there's a full size difference between those right? I guess I'm grasping at straws, but if those 8EEE were actually 8.5EEE they might work for me haha!

9D and 8EEE are roughly the same length. The 8EEE are much wider, of course.

anyone know how to fix that ding just curious? I'm guessing deer boning?

I can help you with this if you're still wondering how to repair shell dents and scratches.

First, you will need a very smooth sleeking tool. I suggest the Wellington Sleeking bone from Kirby Allison, it's $15 and very handy for all types of leather. Next you will need some conditioner. For a deep conditioning I suggest Saphir neutral cordovan cream. For repairing scuffs, scratches and dings you will want to use something a little lighter, I use Venetian Shoe Cream. Apply a little cream to the affected area and rub it in with the flat smooth side of the sleeker, massaging the area and adding more cream as needed until the dent is literally pushed flat.
The sleeking tool is also very good for regular maintenance, whether it's made of wood, bone or metal, the most important thing is that it is very smooth. Lightly scrape over every portion of the the uppers until it is streaky and sort of chalky looking. What you're doing is pushing down the nap of the leather, resulting in an extremely smooth surface. This is also very helpful in removing water spots. When shell is exposed to rain or puddles, the area will expand resulting in a sort of nap. The sleeker will push those nappy areas back down. Any porousness or sharp areas in the sleeker can lead to scratching of the shell, so make sure you lube with cream when working one area for a long time.

Gents,

Looking to sell my 10.5D midnight suede Ottawa boot. Worn only a handful of times and the soles are basically brand new.

I haven't worn these as much as they deserve for a gorgeous boot, so I hope to find them a new home. Will ship with bags and the flannel bonus cloth plus three sets of laces (blue, Guarded Goods in the boots, and leather).

Please PM for further discussion.

Grant Stone Long Wing British Tan Calf. Never been worn or even tried on. Too many shoes and need to thin the herd. I won't wear these for years. These were B grade but I was not able to find anything wrong with them other than minor stitching on the bottom of the sole. Very nice shoe. Laces, Box and Bags included. Triumph Toe Plates installed by Tim's Shoe Repair in Temecula CA (see facebook Tim's Shoe Repair). 11E. $200 Shipped.
