Got the basic suits, now looking for something more adventurous...

So. I'm in my mid-30s and have been going to various tailors around Asia for some time now, and have finally reached the point where I've got the basics covered well. I have single-breast suits in navy, charcoal, dark charcoal w/pinstripe, and a 3-piece in a navy pinstripe.

I'll be travelling to Seoul in a few weeks and want to get another suit made up, and feel that it's time to get something a little more...creative. I'm thinking of interesting or unusual patterns, tweaks to the 'standard' styles I've been relying on, or even (deep breath) double breasted.

I'm looking for inspiration, ideas or suggestions - what was your first foray outside of the basics, and do you have any advice for somebody about to take that step?

Cheers in advance!

DB three-piece Prince-Of-Wales - although I still see it a as conservative option; maybe something with an over-check (i.e. light blue, maroon)

what about a summer suit in linen or cotton. or i'd say a light grey should be next.

How bout a more casual khaki/tan suit? It would be versatile as separate pieces too.

I LOVE the idea of Prince of Wales check, tho maybe a single breasted 3-piece?

Tweed is also a consideration...thanks for the suggestions so far...

Grey Glen check and/or window pane are 2 wonderful patterns to explore.
I also agree that something lighter weight for summer may be of interest to you.
