Ok I'm gonna start off by letting you that it's a club monaco wright suit. I think it fits me well aside from the high button stance at the front.

Anyways here are some fit pics.

Did I make a decent purchase?

not too bad. I like my jackets longer than this. As it is, you are not passing the thumb/finger test by a few inches. On the other hand, your ass is covered.

Is this a regular?

Oher than the high button stance you noted, I cant find a fault with it. Given it's a pretty slim suit, I suggest you hem the pants making sure there's no break or even showing a little ankle. Good buy.

It's short, but that's the trend these days. And the button stance is higher than I might like. It's a look, anyway.

Styling aside, it fits pretty well. Much better than usually found in these threads.

yeah im probably gonna go and get them hemmed, they do it for free there

They don't sell shoes at Club Monaco?

they do but i took these photos to show the fit of the suit. i didnt feel like wearing my shoes as they would scuff up my hardwood floor

end of jacket should be somewhere near the base/knuckle of the thumb. see, for example

Also did you alter the jacket or something? Anything that did not involve cutting or sewing shouldn't prevent a return...

Re: the length as many here remarked, its a matter of style. Slim modern suits are often shorter than typical suits. If you enjoy the style, it's fine.
