Nice foundation piece. Just out of curiosity, why did you get the square toe oxfords? I elected to get get something a bit more tapered and traditional for my first decent dress shoe. BTW, I love the texture of the Magli leather.

I know they look a bit trendy, but I was feeling young at heart when I bid on them and I felt the price was right. They're for a specific day and date, and they beat the PayLess Special I have to wear when I fly. NP PS I was also looking at a pair of Moreschi on BlueFly.

Funny, Moreschi was my first pair of decent dress shoes... I hadn't heard of Bluefly at the time though...

I was thinking the same thing. Moreschi is a quality maker, the shoes are attractive, and $160 plus shipping is a pretty good price. Of course, I don't understand why Bluefly insists on calling just about every shoe under the sun a loafer.
