Chocolate stain from some cake. Is there a way to get it out without ******* up the denim or will it come out later whenever I wash it?

washing your jeans won't "**** up" your denim, if that's what you're asking.

unless you're talking "chocolate stain" which is just gross.

in the future look at that all inclusive thread about denim, and post there. or post in small questions instead. thanks.

You can always dry clean them. It won't effect fading as there is no water involved in the process.

Sure thing. Next time I will post in that thread, but thanks for the answers anyway. I'm just trying to see if I can let it sit there and it will resolve itself whenever I wash my jeans or if the stain will set in there if I do nothing.

Oh forgot to mention: If you do dry clean them, make sure you tell the cleaners not to iron them. Not exactly sure why some places iron jeans in the first place but...

they probably thought something similar when you brought in jeans to dry clean. when i first did it, the guy at the front desk looked so lost when i explained to him why i was doing it. i could imagine what he'd say to his buddies after he got home, telling them that some young guy took in his jeans today to dry clean because he didn't know how to use a washer or something

As Chief Wiggum once said, "nothing gets chocolate out."

very cold water and a little detergent can work wonders. i've gotten chocolate out of a white cotton shirt that way.

yeah, but do I have to do it fairly soon or can I get it out at a later date is what I'm asking.

PCs are a unique beast. I would recommend NOT washing them early. Wear the stain, love the stain.
