If you have been reading the tutorials, you know that a low
shoulder usually has a high hip on the same side.

    But how high is it?

Ok, here we go. You need an assistant armed with a tape measure.
Cinch up your belt on your waist the way you usually wear it.
Stand on a hard floor, with your feet about six inches apart.
Fold your arms in front of you, and look straight ahead.
Now your assistant measures along the side seams of your trousers.
From the top edge of your belt down to the floor, on both sides.
The difference of the two sides tells you the extra height of the high hip.

Don't have a tape measure? go to your local fabric store its only about three bucks.
It will last you a lifetime, unless you lose it.
