Depends what kind of bars you're hanging out in, how old you are, what you want to show off...

Young, hipsterish crowds will react negatively to brands like Dolce or True Religion, but the same thing would be perfect for picking up chicks in trendy/yuppie bars.

If you want something that women recognize (especially while drunk and in a dark bar), you're stuck with highly visible logos and mid-range brands who are on women's radars (ie. Sevens, True Religion, Diesel, etc). The only people I've met who notice high-end menswear brands are older gay men.

Having said that, I've noticed other dudes wearing Diors, APCs, Helmut Lang, etc and just never said anything as it seems rather tacky, so maybe they are more recognizable than I think.

or even:

Or perhaps:

FWIW, I believe the Diesels are the best bang for the buck, especially considering Revolve has them, and first time buyers get 30% off, bringing those bad boys down to $112. All of those have some subtle branding, and especially the first two won't be that hard to identify, but I think they work for someone who wants the branding, but is more style-conscious and can either say "but they're Diesel's" or "yea, I know they're 7s, but they look just like xxx yyy zzz," whichever your situation calls for.

Because the number of people who know about KMW is tiny compared to Evisu/Diesel/Seven, and he wants "status symbol" jeans.

if that's the case, the nudie grim timm in stretch selvage is also a pretty safe bet.
