There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Hi tchoy,

Thanks. Glad you like it. This jacket has a classic design and has a good fit on our customer. A very nice jacket for the winter!
This particular tweed material is supplied by our customer. We have fabrics from Holland & Sherry, W. Bill or Harris Tweed with similar color and patterns. Cheers.

Thanks Eric, I was asking because I am pretty sure I have that same fabric from London Lounge. I am looking to have it make up.

Do you have dates for your Sydney visit yet?

We are finalizing the itinerary, but here is a preview of our schedule.

Our Australia tour is tentatively scheduled on the week of Feb 20th. We'll be starting at Sydney on Feb 20th (Mon) to Feb 21st (Tues) and visiting Melbourne on Feb 23rd (Thurs) to Feb 24th (Friday). Detail itinerary will be posted here and update to our website once everything is confirmed.

Please spread out the news to your friends who are interested in getting some suits, sport jackets, trousers, and shirts made during our visit. If the response is good, we'll include Australia in our annual tour. Cheers!

Is this shoulder unpadded? For the Australian tour, there will be not fittings, correct? Just delivery of the finished product? Also, what would the timeframe to delivery be?

    Yes, this shoulder is unpadded.
We'll be taking measurements and photos of our new customer with our fitting jacket or his best fitted jacket (recommended) during the tour appointment. In most of the cases, we are able to make very good fitted suits for our new customers. And just in case if it happens to have any major fitting problems (very rarely happen), we'll definitely be responsible to follow up and take care of the alterations. On average, it takes about 8 weeks for the delivery. If there are any further questions, please send us an e-mail at: info@gordonyao.com

    Cheers!

Any chance of posting photographs of half-lined or quarter-lined jackets, so that we can see the workmanship? Perhaps best you post in this thread for the benefit of everyone interested.

Here is a photograph of a 8 years old jacket with half-lining. This jacket holds up quite well and should give you an idea of how our half lining jacket looks like. We normally do matching color lining but contrast lining can be done on request per the lining color availability. [IMG]

    Quar,

You mean more example on quarter and half lining?
BTW, I don't feel much different between hal and quarter lining.

Anything really. Do you have any close shots of stitching or button-holes?

I am particularly impressed by the look of their rendition of a shirt-sleeve shoulder.

I'm down in Australia where it is particularly warm, so I'd probably opt for a quarter-lined light-weight open-weave suit.
