Curious, I am looking for some white t-shirts to wear under my dress shirts. Anyone have a good source?

YMMV. I find BB's undershirts to be good quality, although not esp. good value.

I like Brooks Brothers' too. The ones with the red labels. Also like Nordstrom's Supima Cotton ones.

The 2xist ones are nice. Nordstrom carries them, and you can also find them at Filene's Basement.

If you can pay the price order some Zimmerli undershirts from Kabbaz. Definitely worth it.

There are some Zimmerli on sale at Sierra Trading Post. I picked up a couple of the crew neck a few weeks ago.

From the lower end, Target Merona undershirts are quite good for the money. I prefer them to some 2(x)ist that I have.

I've posted this before but I have used JC Penny's Towncraft brand (both blend and 100% cotton) and Lands' End's tees and they were both perfect. I would usually turn my nose up at any clothing by them but these tees were great. They lasted forever (only got rid of them because they started to yellow) and no warping / mutating in the neck and sleeves at all. I think the Towncraft blend were slightly form fitting (which I like) and the Lands End were a little baggier (not too loose though).

I tried 2xist and the fabric and stitching was nice but they are short, small, and tight fitting in the arms (and I'm not THAT big - 5'11 / 185 lbs.) Plus, after the first wash, they (for lack of a better word) mutated around the collar. I bought them from STP on sale but I won't recommend them unless you are a smaller, thinner build.

I have some of the 2xist shirts my experience is that the collars fall apart, roll over and generally wear out with shocking rapidity. The arturo veneziani shirts that sometimes show up on stp are much better, imho.

Jockey seems to be decent, though not especially long for us taller guys. They do have tall sizes, but unfortunately those only start at Large and would be too big for me.

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive brand that makes tall enough Mediums?

More importantly, are they worth what they charge?
