Good tie for pink shirt? (pics of shirt included)

Just got my custom pink shirt back from the tailor. I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out what kind of tie(s) to get with it, though (I need to keep it somewhat conservative, since I'm an attorney). My two main suits are a Hugo Boss, black with subtle white pin stripes, and a Versace, black with white chalk stripes.

Any comments on the shirt itself are welcome too. In hindsight, I may have selected a fabric that was a bit too pink.

Black will make the shirt pop more, and with that color of pink you're not looking for that. I would go with a lighter gray suit and a dark tie (navy, charcoal) to anchor the brightness of the shirt.

Its gonna be tough, but I would sugest either something that mixes white and pink in a pattern, or a powder blue to soften the whole thing up.

+1. Disagree with black tie. Also disagree with a pink and white tie as it would match the tie. I'm gonna say keep it safe with light gray.

No tie will make that shirt be anywhere close to conservative. I have a dark grey tie with a purple, not too bold paisley motif that really works well with pink. It is however one of my festive sets. Sorry for the crappy lowlighting-celphone-picture.

Don't hold back now, Manton.

Green or blue solid tie.

I'd say navy if it wasn't for the black suits... buy new suits.

a tie that is a greater focal point than the shirt.
so something contrasting like navy, but a bit difficult with a black suit.

Red tie. You're already shouting.

And Manton's not wrong.

Also don't buy any more black suits.

I returned a similar salmon color like Borrelli , as I am super white , that was the worst color on me. Why do you ask on a dress shirt the button placket ? I really hate that . Use some red or pink tie or navy , but a black one is the best one. One of the few times I like to use black tie on an almost black suit ( midnight ) is with pink shirts.

I don't necessarily hate the shirt so much,

but yes, it's time to venture into the non-black world of suits. And no, black suits are not even acceptable for lawyers.

Curious though; how did you like King's?
