I need to get a couple suits altered; can anyone make any recommendations for a good tailor(s) in Manhattan? I think I just need the pants hemmed and possibly the sleeves shortened.

It would be ideal if I could find one that has a quick turn around time as I'm leaving for a week long business trip next week and would like to take one of the suits with me.

Thanks in advance.

Hey! Welcome. There's a huge thread called the (hopefully) definitive thread on NYC tailors. A quick search should bring it right up. I answer this way rather than with a recommendation because, as you'll see, there's no simple answer. Read the thread and decide for yourself.

Read the thread, but I'll put in another plug for Cardelino (Broadway and 23rd Street). I haven't had anything major done there, but they've been good for basics. And they're nice, quick and relatively inexpensive.
