hi
does anyone know of any good tailor(s) west of Boston? I'm out near Weston/Waltham, but I'm willing to drive a bit (but preferably not into Boston) for a good tailor.
Thanks!

Rizzo in Harvard Square is hard to beat. Not quite what you wanted in location, but he's really superb.

agreed. I moved to Harvard Square at the beginning of the month, and my wardrobe has never fit better.

Is Rizzo really good? I've seen his shop above the Swiss Watchmaker since I was a boy, and I always wanted to go in and take a look. He does alterations, right? Is he expensive?

Not the cheapest, but not obscene.

Just this month, 2 trs re-hemmed, $40.

Last year, one sport jacket a size too large shortened, sleeveheads cleaned up, otherwise made to look as it ought, about $140. This was not easy surgery. Unfortunately, the cloth is now wearing out but that is a different story.

His bespoke is a great deal-- Lesser fabric 2-piece suits for (I think) $2,400.
