So I've been struggling trying to find nice dress shoes. I'm a size 15 C or D. I'm looking for something better than Allen Edmonds. I would be willing to spend up to $500. What do you guys suggest? Thanks for your help!

Wow I'm a US12 and I thought mine were huge. I remember seeing size 50 Bruno Maglis in a garage sale, not much news now but at least there's the fact that they do produce oxfords up to that size. Hope it helps.

I believe you can also custom order pretty much anything you like from Allen Edmonds,
as long as you are willing to pay for the extras, for example cushioned footbeds or double soles.
Also, have you tried Allen Edmonds in shell cordo?

Es and Aldens would be the most obvious choices.

You could contact Chay Cooper of Alfred Sargent for an MTO, although perhaps not on a handgrade level for your budget but they might be able to offer you something better than AEs.

You may have to raise your budget but you will get some shoes that not only look great but fit perfectly.

I have not tried Allen Edmonds in shell cordovan. How much better made are those compared to their regular shoes?

I had a pair of AE strands in brown shell. They were very nice, but not really any different in construction from calf AE's. It's just a matter of whether you like shell, which most on this forum seem to.
