Woodlore makes good quality shoe trees, and you can usually find them at a discount at stores like K&G and DSW.

Looking at the AE trees on the GVH site makes me wonder what happens to the EG trees from the PL shoes. Anyone know?

I've found a local shoe merchant (courtesy of a fellow local SF'er) who sells good quality wooden shoe trees for just under 11 usd each.
