I just today took a pair of flannel wool trousers and 4 pairs of jeans to Ricardo's Tailoring (765 East El Camino Real) in Sunnyvale as a few people here had recommended him. Friday I pick up my garments to see if it was worth it.

I recommend :

Bob Stankovic
Menlo Park
650-323-9614

He is the Principal Outside Tailor for Wilkes Bashford in Palo Alto
He done some complicated alterations for me with great skill.
I do not think is very high for the quality of his work

Not sure about Bob's hours, but the last time I used him, he was cash only. He does very good work, but I did have to make a quick run to the ATM to take out a few hundred dollars to pay him, just so you know in advance. Things may have changed in the past year though.
