    I mean, ties are stuffy, so the reverse of having as much of your chest shown as possible must be the coolest thing possible right?

    I have no experience with Markowski, but do have three pairs of SL. I find them to be a good shoe for the price especially if you want custom patina. Don't expect Carmina quality, but you are not paying for it either. They offer a lot of variety especially for driving loafers.

    My custom job. A bit flashy, but wear when I am in the mood.

    What are you asking about? The coat? If so, I don't think black is the best color, but hardly an abomination.

    This. Also, a black coat is horrible for the MC gear that Noodles wears. A top coat for a suit and tie like he wears should be in the navy or brown/tan family.

    Meh, I wouldn't say a black topcoat is "horrible". I would bet Savile Row makes many of them a year. Ratio of black topcoats to navy topcoats is much higher than ratio of, say, black suits to navy suits.
