I just have to laugh at myself for being so stupid like a little kid a toy store.
In fairness, the POW would be pretty easy to pair with what you have. White shirt black grenadine, blue shirt blue grenadine, play up the pocket square and you're done.
Well, it could be worse. When this thread started you chased brands and were obsessed with being a 38R. Now at least you are chasing pretty things without regard to their practicality. Be patient and once you have some staples, you'll be able to afford to chase pretty things without regard to practicality a bit more often (not always, for you should always have more staples than you need too).
Hard 3 button? No thanks...
If the lapel could be re-rolled then maybe, but it's silly to buy a suit with that in mind.
3 roll 2.
Yoox buttons up all their suits for staging. And nothing wrong with hard 3 jackets.
Never ordered from Yoox. Is it risk free since there appears to be free return shipping? I would be worried about fit since no measurements are posted.
Totally risk free if it isn't marked final and this Cantarelli isn't. They provide you a return label and you pay $6 for shipping it back to NJ.
There's also this grey one:
If it's really a 3-roll-2, which it does look like since the lapel looks like it's trying to roll at the button point, then that's awesome. I would have grabbed that if I was looking for a suit, but no idea if the shoulders would fit.
If I was trying to build a rotation right now, I'd buy the navy and the grey one asap!
Worth the risk of 12 bucks...
I've become in love with 3 roll 2.5. I am tempted to get all solids in the future in it. Is there such a thing as 3r2.75 or something where it looks less weird when you button the top button?
Also attention deficiency is a spectrum, so saying you had adhd unless you really have it is a bit inaccurate and problematic even if you have neuroticism or show traits of it. Like if you're a little bit unhappy, you wouldn't call yourself chronically or depressed and compare yourself to someone who thinks about killing themselves every day. It's a pretty serious and overlooked problem and gets made fun of or joked about a lot, and it's not really cool imo. This goes for words like "psycho" when you don't really mean psychotic (or psychopathic). Being psychotic (having a psychotic episode) means having delusions, hallucinations, loses grip with reality, etc. It's pretty intense and I think not what you mean when you used the word. It does not mean "psychotic ax murderer" or "breathing down my neck and gets upset easily" or "control freak" "easily hysterical" or any of the ways commonly used. It's a real issue that can ruin careers and lives.
Don't mean to rant but there are 3 people right now in my flat who are on medication, and mental illness is a pretty touchy and important subject that shouldn't be made light of.
Is that $6 per item? As @ridethecliche mentioned, if I make the leap, would probably grab both the grey and navy. Do not wear suits currently but those are two staples. Cantarelli normally runs slim and short? Need to do my research.
I think the 'opening' measurement they gave is the hem width.
Side note. On the off chance that those DO fit, I think it's a worthy shot to take!
Aight, no attacks on family members.
You of all people should know better.
You actually saw her in person!
ADHD and ADD is, if anything, over diagnosed in the American populace. If you want to make a spectrum of mental illness, then ADD/ADHD is pretty much as far on the 'light' side as it can get. I'd say the same for OCD. Having OCD and having OCD tendencies are two totally different things.
Yes, these things can be incredibly debilitating, but I save my SJ warrior energy for things like 'retard' and 'aspie'. Am I not allowed to say I am obsessive about certain things, given that it's a symptom? What about hyperactive?
Someone that has close friends with PTSD, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder.
Damn enablers...bought both the grey and navy Canterelli's. 40 and 42 in grey plus the 40 in navy to test sizing. Crossing my fingers they all do not have to be sent back.
Separate names with a comma.
