According to Gentleman's Gazette, VBC markets its flannel as "Agnelli flannel." Here's the exact stuff he used to buy:

^ I have a grey flannel suit in VBC 12 ounce flannel. I like the fabric a lot.

This is right up your alley, Noodles. Navy tie and blue stripe oxford shirt.

Just think. When Noodles gets Murl's suit, he can start wearing some more navy ties. Just...better navy ties this time...

Just put this in tweed appreciation

Some jackets from my tweed collection. Corneliani for Polo, Partenopea and Zegna

Green barley is probably my fave. Can't find a 100% wool fabric like that ANYWHERE in any color.

The only fit pic I saw from JRD was when he asked about the fit of his trousers.

He promised to participate in the green jacket challenge and he never did. :(

I am catching up with some posts but want to interject quickly and say that I broke up with my g/f in college in large part b/c I was on SF too often and shopping a lot (0). And the fact that I wasn't paying attention, browsing SF very often...

So, I'd be very careful Mr. Noodles and not take things too lightheartedly. Sounds like she needs some TLC ASAP...

Your story sounds like my past situation, and I will tell you first hand that it is a real problem. More so because it seems like you're really getting the hang of things and it is very easy at this point for you to get caught up with your new found sartorial lifestyle.

    :foo:

Noodles, don't sell the Galaxy. You won't get much for it anyways. (That should be the main criterion, right?)

Keep it for sentimentality. It's no Formosa, but it's not awful.

Also, there's no reason to be browsing SF if you're on a date with your wife. Bad manners in general to be on your phone.

Nice stuff, @jrd617! Wonderfully fuzzy. Are you going to make suits or just jackets with the 17 oz. cloths? I just got some 14 oz. trousers and can't imagine going heavier than that.

Not sure on the weights. Either 14 or 17 oz woolen

I'm thinking about a mid-grey suit. Also a navy jacket.
