Because I want someone (with a willingness to spend more than 100 USD on a tie...a boundary I've yet to cross, btw, thanks to sales and B&S) to pull the trigger on a Frui tie:

(some of my favorites, all between 105-150 bucks

Along that line, it sounds like Yellowhook will have a $600 vicuna tie in the works - which is basically the same price as the net total of those 5 ties.

My pleasure! I would have bought one already but am generally disappointed with the knots that I get from 8 cm ties.

I'm with you on the width. I can't roll 8cm ties with Formosa lapels...3.3" is even pushing my taste.

They carry a lot of Liverano and Fiori from Italy. Their house ties (which are sublime. absolutely nuts good) are from a small Korean brand called Frui. The owner's mother makes them. And they really are amazing. Just a bit too expensive for me. They are on par with the Tie-Your-Tie ties I've handled (which are also too expensive for me).

That particular tie is Fumagalli 1891. Generally (though not always) ugly and can be had at significantly less than what B&Tailor sells them for off eBay.

About "Fiori":
I think they actually stock Fiorio Milano, which is Intermoda's house line. They are upscale both regarding fabric and construction quality to their licensed brand name lines (Moschino, GFF etc.). I don't know B&T's price point, but at their suggested RRP, I consider them to be quite the bargain. Most of their designs are SF-approved, too.

Can someone briefly explain to me the differences between: Drape Cut, Steed, and Huntsman's house styles? To me they all seem similar and have the elements I like (strong shoulder, waisted, swell/drape chest, slightly flared skirt/quarters), but I am sure there are some differences, but I can't quite articulate.
