    Flip it over. Polo 2 or 3 will say so. Not sure about polo 1 (or when the numbering system for models started).

    I think it *could* have looked quite good on Noodles with minor work. But the key thing is that it's a cut that Noodles didn't like for himself. Even if it looked the same on him as it does on me, he wouldn't have been happy with it.

    Single forward pleat on my suit, flat on the Noodles suit.

    Hi Noodlers;

    Require some outerwear for spring/autumn. Considering this linen overcoat from SS:

    [IMG]
    http://eu.suitsupply.com/en_AU/coat.../J271.html?start=35&cgid=Coats&start=31&sz=31

    Would kop, but slight reservations:

    - colour - not sure how versatile this colour is; might be too monotone as many of my summer trousers are beige.

    - cut - lapels too small? Not sure about the buttoning style either (6 buttons, top two rows working.), and there are no pictures of the buttoned-up version that's not the "disembodied ghost coat" picture.

    I like linen, but I'm not sure how a linen overcoat would work. Seems to be a good transitional coat in theory.

    Thoughts? Should kop? Any alternatives in the price range?

    Jesus, I didn't even know polo made a single forward pleat. All of mine (or what I've seen) are double or flat.

    Linen overcoat? seems like a strange idea. I'd rather just wear my trench coat but I guess many don't like those.

    I do agree that the cut probably just doesn't suit noodle's style and what not. Just didn't seem right on him in my eyes.

    Yeah, the variation on the basic theme is seemingly endless.
