"Color and pattern because it makes me look old. "

Wrong. Looks great and very crisp on you, to my eye. Miles better than the SuSu imo.

Keep it and buy moar Formosa to satiate your insanity.

As much as I have counseled Noodles to keep this suit, it occurs to me that he's doing exactly the thing everyone advises noobs to do: Buy exactly what you want instead of spending money on stuff that's 80-90% there for you.

So, good job, Noodles? I guess?

Suga, post a proper fitpic in this thread once you have it, just to show noodles what he's missing out on.

    Well, I've done it again.
1st time was with JRD's Zegna suit.
    Then today.
If I really dislike something, I want it out of my hands asap and move on.
But don't think that I am a stubborn SOB who won't listen and learn.
I just personally didn't like it at this stage in my sartorial life.

^ Noodles - I am going to once again offer the suggestion of trying Steed MTM (they will be in DC on Friday). I think their drape cut will achieve a lot of what you like about the Formosa and they should be able to work with you to create something you'd enjoy wearing. It could be a nice complement to Formosa and you'll have a wide range of fabrics to choose from (I suppose you would also have this with Formosa MTO too).

Their prices are pretty comparable to Formosa, seeing as they start at 1200GBP/1900USD. Might not be a bad idea at all. Just show up in your formosa, so they get an idea of what you like.

Plus, Edwin and Matthew at Steed are great to work with. You could make an appointment to see what their MTM suits are like, get measured, and look at fabrics. The style is different from Formosa, and the prices are comparable, so it would a good alternative.
