So explain this to me as if I am a 5 year. Why are Isolation's jackets have uneven shoulders?
    I am not understanding this.

Because my shoulders are uneven I guess. Unequal padding could look worse in motion than simply conforming to my shoulders. As I understand anyway.

Almost everyone's shoulders are at least slightly uneven. Isolation just has a little more severe of a dropped shoulder than most.

    Okay. Sorry.
So that was the best that the tailor can do to to address the issue?

Yup. Very true. I have a slight uneven shoulders.

It's a tailoring decision. People...in general, but especially on SF in regards to clothing and tailoring...are too eager to force everything into a scale between "right" and "wrong" or "better" and "worse". Iso's tailor decided to try to make the jacket follow his natural shoulder line as closely as possible rather than try to make them look even using padding or other artifice. The shoulder line looks reasonably clean, so I would say the tailor was fairly successful in this.

    I see.
Jacket aside, I think his pants should be a bit looser. It seems too tapered. Is it just me???

Yeah the gray one was too tight as I did ask for it to be tight but perhaps he went tighter than I wanted. My other trousers (lower pictures) were looser and considerably better. First piece will always miss the mark a little, I feel, but I'm content with it. Really prefer having pleats also, I did not expect to prefer it this much.

Thanks for the link it was a nice read.

I should've waited longer before I did my work out now I feel like throwing up.

No doubt. The suggestion of lowering the buttoning point just a shade next time, is also helpful: you have admirably wide shoulders, but pinching your waist like that gives you a rather effeminate lower end. A straighter line from upper waist to hip will give you a much more masculine triangle in your upper half, accentuated by a slightly lower button stance, and give you that strong silhouette that I think you're after when you've been seeking a fitted look. For proof, just look at the pic where you've unbuttoned the single breasted suit: not as tidy, of course, but those straight-hanging sides are suddenly giving you a lot more unaffected poise and presence. All of this might, I suspect, rather de-emphasise that dropped shoulder, too.

Relax the fit, and yourself. You're headed to a good place.

    He didn't have his V8.

I tried to find a picture to back up the reference but I guess it's that dated ...

P.S. +1 on easing up the trousers too, there's a fine line between slim and effete: you're in shape, you don't need to exaggerate the fit.

This is what I feared. There's nothing good in that area! Just look at the restaurants that pop up.

Best place to eat around L'Enfant Plaza is the cafeteria at the National Museum of the American Indian. Seriously. Gets really crowded, however.
