1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The analogy I like to use is that a quartz watch is like a photograph while a mechanical watch is like a painting. A photograph captures an image much more accurately than the best painting, but no one is paying $40 million for a photograph of a vase with flowers. Why? Because of the human imagination and technical ability that went into producing the painting that is absent with a photograph.

I've never been a fan of Tags but there's something about a Carrera on a leather strap.

If I was spending money on a watch, this would probably be at the very bottom of the list. Nonetheless, a good looking watch IMO

And so the floodgates open...two of the nicest (and most TWAT-friendly) Omegas, yes on the Carrera - less is more, it's the one I like as well; and that Portuguese Chronograph is very high on my wish list too. It's coming to get you, Noodles.

Mr J, nice work - the colour and texture looks just like mine, except mine's a more traditional patch pocket sports jacket. But anyway, yes, I think we're on the same page.

That's actually how it came. I don't know how they knew where to deliver it. @LA Guy must have paid for the extra good forum software, I guess.

I don't know how it works in DC, Noodles, but disrobing is generally frowned upon at my office.

I thut you worked at a nude office ...[IMG]

    ...c'mon! San Fran and nudists?

On a serious note: My apologies if it is too wrinkled. I intentionally shoved it in the box to piss you off. But just hang it up and it should be fine. Who am I talking to? You should know better.

Noodles is what, three or four inches taller than Butch? So sensible not to go with the trousers yet, and the sleeves could go up an inch or so. But heck yes, that's a fine jacket and a fine fit. Nice kop, Butch. :)
