Indecent proposal? Give me a million and I'll leik you in any.
Some military outerwear p0rn:
You calling me? lol
(and should have said "... in any-thing.")
On another, but coat related note, how does that felted esemplare parka work in the rain (dancing or not)? Soaking it up like a sponge, would be my guess?
Speaking of outwear, what are your thoughts on more dressed top coats that are intended for use without a sport coat/suit jacket under?
Here is one example from TM Lewin http://www.tmlewin.co.uk/Edison-Navy-Herringbone-Coat/48805,en_GB,pd.html?start=0&cgid=Mens-coats
Is this kind of top coat to dressed to be used without a jacket but with a shirt + sweater (+ tie)? The TM Lewin is just an example of a more fitted top coat.
One of the waxed cotton numbers. You really need to go try them on as they fit very different from jacket to jacket. For me, the road and trail masters are too long on my 5'10" frame, so I went with a more updated, slightly shorter style.
Yeah, I looooove me a long jacket. Thigh or knee length is my jam. I have to see if I can find a way to try one on, because I would love to get that green jacket for fall.
...and we'll be right back to continue our conversations right after these commercials...
I remember the love of charcoal suits + brown shoes combo here from years past, but am I correct in thinking a charcoal suit, PoW wedding tie, and brown shoes to be incongruous? Better off with a black shoe, yes?
with that tie, yes, especially if at an actual wedding.
Blue Donegal pants. Yeah or nay? I'm always drawn to blue flannel or tweed pants, but usually refrain because I'm not sure what I'll wear them with. Any thoughts?
Brown brogue boots or chocolate suede chukkas with more rounded toe, chunky gray shawl cardigan and blue OCBD.
I like them and have a similar pair (Yount). It is a nice color in the Fall and Winter.
Barbour coat too.
Any light-mid shade of grey up top paired with brown anyshoeotherthanoxfords
I've worn this exact fit many times
