    Picked up two Panama hats on special yesterday. One is white with a dark grey satin band - an item which has been on my to-acquire list for some months.

    The other is identical in shape but an unusual light brown colour. It also has a tighter weave and seems to have a slightly firmer structure.

    Obviously it doesn't match what I was wearing, but I really like this colour and look forward to incorporating it into future fits. Any ideas as to how I might go about doing that?

    I, for one, am glad of the summer slowdown as I have scarce time to keep abreast of the happenings as they are while on vacation...2 young kids means no time for browing except like this...

    As for the quality improvements, I havent been posting and it wouldnt be the first time I've been told I light up a room merely by leaving it!

    Eagerly awaiting the formosa fit though, Noodles. Chop, chop.

    Looks very good. Sleeves look to be the only obvious alteration needed. Very clean shoulders and chest and great shape though the waist.

    Really like that, noodles. Sleeves as you know, but the shoulders+quarters are doing wonders for you IMO.

    That looks great. The pear shaped issues that have sparked so much discussion here are gone. Sleeves, obviously, but that's no big deal.

    Now you just need some wide ties to go with those excellent lapels.

    No, I'm not giving that Cappelli back...

    Gentlemen,
    Thank you for the positive reviews. I am very relieved that the Formosa suit worked out. I will buy a couple more but glad this is a solid start. I guess I may consider the SS La Spalla at some point too.

    @Cox - keep that tie! It looks better on you. HAha

    @mursquirl
    Thanks for making this happen. You the man. Now send me that grey Formosa. Hehehe

    Yes! I was in such a denial for so long but I have accepted the fact that I should wear 40R...for most brands. Bye bye 38R Zegnas
