I agree. Less spread will make it not look apparent.
Noodles, you can shoot for this spread.
Nice to see u around l2brfrm.
I hope we are spliting hair here.
I feel what Eliod is saying.
Dang my long neck.
We are most certainly splitting hairs. These are all from the composite thread, so very well respected outfits:
Here is an example of what I think is too spread/short.
Here is my preference:
Both fabulous dressers, so splitting hairs. I just prefer the latter. Again, no hate. Clags is obviously a phenomenal gentleman who knows what he is doing. I am indebted to him and many others for any "knowledge" I may have.
P.S. I'm always around, just sometimes posting a bit more actively than others.
I think in Clags' case it should be noted that he appears to have a rather short neck, hence the. lower collar, I presume.
"I don't have a long neck!"
I will say in his case, Clags' collars certainly look more proportional than most mega-spread wearers. That said, I would prefer a taller and less spread collar even on him.
Again, my personal preference. VERY spread collars are more SF than not in my experience.
Exactly what I was thinking.
I don't think I have a short neck, but maybe I do. My choice in an oversized collar is largely a reflection of my headsize. They are the same as Rudal's collars but with an extra 1.5cm in band height (and then the collars themselves extended to reflect this).
Just measured. The collar bands are just under 3.5CM in height. Maybe I just have a really oddly shaped neck/clavicle area.
You can see where the collar band actually starts here
There's no such thing as "timeless" in clothing. I mean, nobody dresses like l2br's avatar any more, do they? (Unless they are doing "The Lion In Winter" in amateur rep, or are into some kind of weird cosplay gig.)
However, it's true to say that some fashion doesn't date as quickly as other fashion. I imagine this is what Kira means. Not sure that teal DB fitted the bill though.
Someone needs to make this line a sticky.
...but I thut diamonds were timeless...
